• Zuzana’s works are engaging curiosity and evoking mystery.

She creates impactful, evocative pieces, working with proportion and scale as a whole. Often referencing our surroundings, emotional experiences, or the ever-changing environment.

  • “My mind is moving in between abstraction and personification. While creating, I often start with my own emotion, which I transform in to a form. My shapes are often organic, but it is important for me to maintain a form that is recognisable. Through my sculptures, I love to tell stories with playful and humorous approach.”

Her works are infused with a spirited quality, almost as if they have a personality. They range from pieces embracing animalistic features to more abstract, organic forms.

  • “I think that working with clay is interesting because it is an organic material. When I work with clay, I feel like I am communicating. Often, I do not know exactly what I am going to create, or I might already have something in mind. I start and deepen in the creative process, which is connected with the observation of material and form. It is truly fascinating how my creation mirrors my psyche and experiences.”

Infused with the idea of movement in nature, Zuzana’s work evokes a gentle, calming presence.

  • “My creative process is a fusion between pragmatic conception and imagination. I believe that space influences our emotional state and the way we interact with it. When I imagine an object for a space I am intuitively creating a shape which will have an emotional impact on our subconscious. My absolute passion is creating response to what already exists (such as historical spaces or any space).”

“There is something uniquely hers about Zuzana, a mixture of authenticity and pop art, which is definitely worth following.”
